本机适用于易受变形或打击狠等工作物，磨光或选料作业，本机台上端周围有旋涡状倾斜通路，工作物与研磨石混合物在选料作业中呈现旋涡状往前流动至选料区。因此，虽然在处理易变形或打击狠的工作时，其工作物本身亦不受损伤。选料区设有转换匣门，过滤网等可把磨物与被研磨物分离，易于选料，操作简单。
